Landlord Topics
If you're going to own multiple real estate properties, you need to acquire a basic understanding about leases, tenant rights, property laws, rent collections etc.
Prior to purchasing your first property, you should consider whether or not you want to become a landlord. Another alternative is to use a property manager.
Both have advantages and disadvantages, but I would recommend to anyone just getting started in real estate, to manage their own properties at first. By doing so, you will "learn the ropes" and get a basic understanding of what a landlord does. You will also save money by not having to pay a property manager.
